With full-fledged workshop, excellent laboratory facilities and faculty, consisting of highly qualified and experienced in both industry and teaching, catering to the needs of students of all the semesters of all the branches of engineering and technology. The outstanding performance of the students at various levels such as University Examinations, GATE, CAT, GRE, TOEFEL, CES and other competitive examinations reflects the high caliber and commitment of the faculty. The production center situated within the workshop, with the participation of the students, produces almost all the requirements of the Institution. The staff of this Department takes part in the Seminars/Symposiums/Workshops to update their knowledge. They also effectively take part in winter and summer school recognized by ISTE and submitted technical papers to various national and international conferences and journals. Nearby industries like JK.Paper Ltd., Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA), Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) and National Aluminum Company Limited (NALCO) are the most willing centers for training of the students of this Department. Frequent Industry interactions in the form of seminars; workshops are organized to acquaint the students with the latest developments and to provide them a competitive advantage.
