Cells are formed of faculty members
to decentralize and involve faculty members in the academic affairs and
improvement of the college (copy enclosed).

Students are attached to each
faculty member as student guides and Counselors, in each department to help the
student, to develop his personality, communicative skills and placement
ability.
(3)
Coordination committees are
constituted for each subject of study by the students, comprising of teachers
involved in teaching theory, tutorial and practical and students drawn from the
class at their different strata. It is a
forum to monitor progress in teaching the subject by the teacher and to pose
problems, if any, experienced by the students and teachers to each other. Guidelines are given by the
Director/Principal (Guidelines copy enclosed) to conduct the coordination
committee meetings, the first one after the first module is covered in the
class, the last one before the last module is covered, and one in the middle if
needed.

short-term courses, seminars etc. in the college. Details

Mechanism / Norms & Procedure
For
democratic/ good Governance
A quality Improvement Cell: Under the control of a highly
respect academician has been set up for disseminating and implementing the
quality policy and for achieving overall improvement in the effectiveness of
the Teaching –Learning Process
Head of Department Meeting: will be held once in a week to
discuss the departmental academic and administrative matter relating to student
and staff
Proctorial Board: A Proctorial board with member
drawn from all departments has been formed to check the overall discipline of
the students, professional ethos and to ensure good behavior in the campus. The
convener and other member of the board monitor student’s adherence to the
regulation of the college
Dress code: Student should be dressed
according to the dress code that the Institution fixed
Counselor System: Matters relating to students’
attendance and functioning of class work is being discussed in Head of
Departments meeting regularly. To augment the student’s classroom attendance
counselors for every 20 students were nominated by the concerned Heads of
Departments to advise the students in all academic matters and over all
personality development. The counselors frequently interact with the student’s
understand their problems if any and guide them suitable. The detail of
interaction of each student are noted in the dairies maintained by the
counselors and submitted every week to the Principal for perusal
Students
Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance
The
college follows the method of student feedback on teacher twice in each
semester and takes immediate remedial action if necessary. The faculty is
required to make self- appraisal, based on the student feedback information and
the student performance at examination. The head of the department counsel the
teachers who are found deficient in some aspect of teaching. The Head of
department periodically discuss these matters with the Director.
Grievance
redressed Mechanism
Two separate Grievance Redressal
Cells are constituted, one for teaching and non-teaching employees and another
for students and these are notified.
Each body has a Convener. The affected
member, having a grievance, will address his problem to the Convener orally and
also in writing. The Convener will call
a meeting of the corresponding Grievance Cell and apprise of the grievances to
its members. After a thorough discussion
in the Cell and enquiries, a method of redressal is evolved for the genuine
grievances. The matter is put to C.A.C.
(College Administrative Committee) through the Director/Principal.
