The faculty consists of highly qualified and experienced teachers. The outstanding performance of the students at various levels of the competitive examination reflects the caliber and commitment of the faculty. The staff take part in the seminar/short term courses to update their knowledge. Our main objective is to impart education and training in electronics and communication engineering at the undergraduate level with special emphasis on electronic systems. Starting from inception the Department of ECE has been designing and delivering to the students a curriculum that keeps them abreast with the latest developments and trends in the field. The vision of the department is to excel in undergraduate teaching with emphasis on developing analytical ability as well as the technical skill of the student to thrive constantly for acquisition of knowledge towards development of electronic technology and nurture the spirit of innovation in design of electronic project.

Communication Laboratory
The equipments available for the Lab. are: Signal processing workstation based on the TMS 20c25 / TMS320c30 / TMS 320c52 and image processing work station, CCD camera and high resolution monitor audio pattern generator.
Microwave Laboratory
Major equipments and accessories available are
- Microwave network analyzer system with accessories required for wave-guide and micro strip component
analysis.
- Microwave system analyzer (HP8559A)
- Microwave power meters (MP 535 A)
- KU-band gunn effect VCO
- Wave-guide and coaxial components of a wide variety and for different frequency bands are available for conducting experimental works.
VLSI Laboratory:
Facilities exist for VLSI chip design, design software for ASIC design, analog and digital design, field programmable Gate array design. Layout design and mixed signal simulators.
PCB Laboratory:
The PCB Laboratory has all the necessary facilities for the needs of the project including design of real database applications.
Computer Hardware:
The computer hardware laboratories have facilities for the development and testing of microprocessor based system research and system development work aimed at computer infrared cards. Multiprocessor system is regulating carried out in the laboratory.
