Department of Engg. Mathematics:
The department of mathematics is striking towards excellence in the field of engineering. It is pioneering towards Discrete mathematics, Calculus and Engineering mathematics.
Department of Engg. Physics
Knowledge of materials and materials characterization is fundamental to engineering. In an effort to capitalize this scientific fact, the Department of Physics was established in 1999 to impart quality education to undergraduate engineering students in the field of Physics. The department is articulated with the necessary equipments and a state-of-art laboratory.
Engineering being the science of measurement, has been the off-spring of physics with plays the primary role in the professional courses of all the branches of engineering the department intended to serve the above need which is well equipped with the experiments related to Properties of matter, Heat, Light, Sound, Electricity and Magnetism and Modern Physics. The laboratory consists of Automatic time and oscillations counter, Digital micro Balance, Differential Thermal analyzer, Ultra sonic interferometers, Phase Echo measurement, Ultrasonic flow Detector, Magnetic particle Tester, Eddy current Tester, Strain analyzer with Data acquisition System, Thermo luminescence system, G.M counter, Monochromator – Photo Multiplier etc.
Department of Engg. Chemistry:
The Department of Chemistry is well equipped with a good laboratory and dedicated faculty. The department is focusing on Volumetric analysis, Colorimetry & Spectrophotometry, pH. Metry and phychemical analysis of herbal products. The chemistry lab is well designed with various equipments including, series of pH meter, Colorimeter, Spectrophotometer, Chramotgraphy assembly etc. Above all, this department is endowed with quality and experienced faculty members.
Department of Communicative English:
The department is equipped with a good communicative English Lab with the necessary infrastructure like audio-visual aids for imparting good communication skills. The department is also concentrating on personality development for which it is named for its excellence. It has well-qualified and rich experienced faculty.
In addition to the above, the department is also concentrating on engaging of guest lecturers to give better insight all-critical aspects. The department is string hand to uplift the students to make them competitive.
Department of Management Studies
Unprecedented economic growth and its sustainable development in India need business leaders who are creative, entrepreneurial and the ones who can drive it into new paradigms without succumbing to the euphoria. Indian Professionalism has never been put to as critical a test as in today’s changing world. Hence, the vision of the department has inspired the basic philosophy and approach of MITS since its inception so that management thinkers and philosophers deeply entrenched and firmly rooted in the Indian soil for efficient running of Indian business and industry. The department believes that proper managerial perspective, search of excellence and efficient managerial action and it is possible by a person with managerial potential developed into a highly resourceful, enriched and stimulating mind through knowledge, skills and attitudes provided in the engineering course. The mission of the department is, Preparing creative, productive, efficient and value based business managers for the industry in addition to their technical skills. This department is committed to inculcating basic human values and a sense of nobility, righteousness and excellence in the students.
