The redoubtable Basantdevi charitable Trust (Regd. 3/91, dated 20th Apr. 1991) derives its name from the Smt.Late Basantadevi, the beloved mother of Sri B.K.Panda, its chief architects, Managing Trustee and founder Trustee. The Trust has been spreading education among the neglected and the down-trodden in the far-flung tribal areas of the state, right from the primary up to the postgraduate level. It is a trust for which upliftment of the poor has virtually become a passion. |
