The MITS was conceived in response to the acute deficiency in centers of higher learning (Technical) in the country as also, the need to develop relevant human capital to meet the technology and management challenges of 21st Century.

AdmissionsThe 100% admissions to the B.Tech Program would be made on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).

Training & Placements It handles all aspects of campus placements for the students at MITS. The office is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process. Arrangement for Pre-Placement Talks, Interviews, and Group Discussions etc. are all handled by the Cell.

Admissions

M.Sc. Admission

This program is designed for students who have obtained their bachelor's degree in science and wish to build a professional career in Biotechnology & Computer Science. The courses have been carefully designed to take the student through basic concepts to current practices in industry, and hands-on laboratory experience is emphasized at every stage of the program. This program aims at producing developers to meet the ever-changing requirements of the global industry.

Selection Process
Candidates for admission will be selected through an Entrance Test by Berhampur University. The test will be of one hour duration. The test will evaluate the candidates on their mathematical aptitude, logical reasoning, basic programming, English and general awareness of Computer Science/Biotechnology. Final merit list for admission will be prepared based on the performance of the Entrance Test only.
